I may not know a great deal about Sound Garden as opposed to many a person out there. I do know what I like though..... and I like the music of Sound Garden a great deal. I fell for it when I heard the song Black Hole Sun for the first time. That was the start of my slight "addiction" to their music. If you have never listened to there music before I can try to explain the sound it conves.It is what I would to be considered metal. Nor would I consider it modern alternative either. It definetly is for the most part a great tradtional hard rock plugged in guitar style with some exceptions. There final album had more of an acoustic feel to it in places. A great deal lighter altogether, even in the hardest songs on it such as Pretty Noose.

The writing of the lyrics really connects with me at times. Much of what is written about in there music I feel happening in my own life.
